The Annapurna Base Camp trek leads you deep into the Annapurna Sanctuary — a high glacial basin encircled by towering peaks. Passing through Gurung villages, terraced hillsides and bamboo forest, you reach Base Camp (4,130 m) for a 360° panorama of the Annapurnas and the sacred Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).
