Overview
The Langtang Valley is the closest Himalayan trek to Kathmandu, yet one of the least crowded. Following a glacial river up through forests of oak and rhododendron, you reach the alpine pastures and yak herds of Kyanjin Gompa, with the option to climb Tserko Ri (4,984 m) for sweeping glacier views. A warm introduction to Tamang mountain culture.
